The Deji of Akure Kingdom and the Chairman of the Ondo State Council of Obas, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, has approved the closure of all markets in Akure Kingdom on Friday 1st October, 2021.
A statement by his Chief Press secretary Micheal Adeyeye, said the closure of all markets in Akure by His Majesty is in honour of Honourable Isaac Adedayo Omolafe aka Expensive, who until his death was the member representing Akure North and South Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.
The Monarch urged all indigenes and residents of Akure to use the opportunity to pay their last respect to one of the most illustrious sons of Akure Kingdom and also remember his immediate families in prayer.
While saying that he lived a fulfilled life though short, the monarch further said Hon. Adedayo Omolafe came, saw and conquered, urging all Akures.
